The White Truffle, scientifically Tuber Magnatum Pico., is a prized underground mushroom that grows in the territory of Tuscany (as well as in Piedmont and the Marche), in particular in the San Miniato area, where the Collebrunacchi Farm collects this delicious natural product . The White Truffle has an intense fungal, earthy odor and strongly recalls hay and honey. its aroma is complex and intense and constitutes the most harmonious aromatic bouquet in the world of tuber: vaguely reminiscent of parmesan cheese, it reaches notes of humid forest and a hint of garlic. The flavor of the white truffle is intense but balanced: a few grams of truffle are enough to flavor any dish. The flavor is reminiscent of mature cheese, garlicky and slightly spicy, but sweetened by hints of honey.

It is recommended to consume it at room temperature, to best taste all its facets, finely sliced and strictly served raw on dishes such as tagliolino, risotto or sunny side up egg.
